Residual Value (RV) Management based on ‘Goal USP’

Summary

Optimal model.

This continuation of the RV Knowledge Training is a model for visualizing and managing optimal RVs. Created in 2021, it has already proven its value in over 50 workshops.

Goal USP.

Built around the ‘Goal USP’ principle, it breaks down the complex RV ecosystem in seven sections, each with their own RV management must-dos.

Find focus.

In this course, you will identify your RV weaknesses via guided self-assessment, and find your focus to get the best possible outcome, given your time, investment and desired result.

    • Step 3: In 3 to 4 groups, self-assess the current status
    • Step 4: Determine priorities on weakest activities, based on expected impact balanced against resources and time required
    • Step 5: Develop detailed action plan
  • Depending on customer needs, we can plan follow-up activities
Results
  • The combined assessments across all our customers form the basis of a relative score within the sample group
  • We have helped customers move up from a ‘poor’ assessment to a ‘very good’ one in just 18 months
Learning
  • A stand-alone training session is highly valuable, but for maximum effect, it should be accompanied by a strategy or a plan
  • Internal stakeholders need a regular touchpoint with their RV management activities. This can be achieved via regular best practice sharing (through webinars and by quarterly follow-up sessions)
